Well, it’s been a while since my little solo getaway weekends have happened – so it was time to get to my last “state” in Australia!

Canberra.

Well, technically it’s not a state, but it is the nation’s capital and I wanted to get here. 45 minute flight form Melbourne and touchdown in Canberra!

Here’s a view from atop Mt. Ainslie – just a quick drive from the city centre. Canberra feels very much like a political town from the layout alone – a mini DC even!
