Tim and I headed on a flight 2.5 hours to the north of Western Australia for a weekend in Broome! Broome is really a little resort town in the middle of nowhere. The nearest town to them is 500 or so km. Wild.
We were hosted at the Willie Creek Pearl Farm which was fascinating. Had no idea how pearls were farmed.
And, the best part – up up up we went in a helicopter to see the farm, Cable Beach and Broome from a much different perspective!
