Day 793
Saturday 07 Nov 2015
We had a stop for about 45 minutes today in the “town” of Cook – population…four.
Not four thousand.
Not four hundred.
Not even four-ty.
FOUR.
The four residents refuel the trains crossing the Nullarbor and provide overnight accommodation for train drivers. Back in the hay day there used to be about 200 residents when the railways were being built, but those days are long gone.
Cook – almost needs to be seen to be believed!
