The poster cracked me up.

“Real Aussies Say Welcome.”

It’s one of the most jarring expressions here for me actually – I still get taken off guard by how Aussies acknowledge thanks.

Me: Thanks for that.
Aussie: No worries.

Me: Thanks so much.
Aussie: It’s alright.

Me: Ah thank you.
Aussie: It’s okay.

I KNOW IT’S OKAY, BUT I WAS THANKING YOU….just say you’re welcome.
