YOU’D BETTER WORK!

The Lion King Australia had it’s first annual Easter Bonnet competition!

This brain child of Sue Bell, our Deputy Head of Wardrobe, was a gigantic success. There were 15 groups who secured places in the competition. Each group received a bag of the exact same contents. And then the construction began…

About three weeks later, Easter week, the competition was on! A runway was set up in the costume bunkers upstage of the stage. And the models of the bonnets strutted their stuff and gave us that fabulous SUPERMODEL WALK!

This shot is the fierce Anica giving her fiercest Naomi Campbell walk – with each bonnet being more inventive than the next.

And the crowd loved it!
