It was Randy & Laura go to the Opera Day today!
During the day, we headed to the Sydney Opera House for their behind the scenes tour and it was pretty fascinating. Good tour. Good behind the scenes peek into all of the spaces. Good history. Good stuff.
Then, in the evening, we attend the Opera Australia’s production of Madama Butterfly – OUTDOORS! Set up on the outskirts of the Botanical Gardens at Mrs. MacQuaries Point with the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge as it’s natural backdrop, we enjoyed Puccini’s masterpiece.
This photo shows the final image of the show of the sun in the harbor. What a view. And the rain held off – whew!
