Another two show day at The Lion King and I was craving a cocktail after work. My Disney office mate Harvey and I decided to hit up Baxter Inn – an underground whisky den in the heart of the CBD.

After wandering down an unmarked alley way, we stood in a line by the dumpsters and, after a short wait, descended down the stairs into what felt like another era.

Fantastic cocktails. Incredible whisky selection. Beautiful bar. Hipster heaven.

I introduced Harvey to an Old Fashioned – which they have steeping and serve on tap.

New favorite bar in Sydney.
