Sometimes you just need to have a meal with a friend that breaks the bank and fills the stomach and soul with yumminess.
Josephine and I hit up Momofuku Seiōbo at The Star casino complex here in Sydney. Momofuku means lucky peach (hence the logo!).
Do yourself a favor and do it. The degustation menu was to die for.
Snacks – smoked eel, crab, zucchini
Parson’s Nose – think pork crackle but better
Steamed Pork Bun
Pig’s Blood – mushroom dish
Wagyu beef – radish and fermented black bean
Beetroot
Flounder
Abalone
Lamb
Cheese – Holy Goat!
Sorrel ice cream dish
Almond ice cream dish
CARAMELIZED PORK THAT YOU ATE WITH HANDS TO FINSH
And each dish came with a wine pairing.
Heaven in a restaurant. Absolutely perfect.
