OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG.

OMG.

MY FIRST KANGAROO!  ON THE BEACH WITH ME!

Totally wild.  Booderee National Park is right past Jervis Bay and takes up quite a lot of land.  Some very gorgeous stuff.

I headed to Murrays Beach first today based on a recommendation from Paperbark Camp.  Not disappointed – some truly stunning beaches in this part of Australia.

But who knew that I would have my first kangaroo encounter!

And a second…when one dashed out in front of my Jeep as I drove to my next stop – AAHHHHHH! Slammed on my brakes and avoided a potential disaster…

ROOS!
